It has been a great few months. But now we must put a fitting close to it by posting on one more discussion before officially calling it a semester! I want to talk to you about the last topic of the 4600 class that is about the future of women's impact on sports.
A source has written about how the social media society depicts women in another light of sports culture. His words are said to be very convenient when he wrote about how social media and sports would make a controversial standpoint, especially when the first woman in the history of the Boston Marathon to run the race. This may have likely impacted the sport of marathon running in general.
I would say that this would be very accurate at looking at this stuff because of how writer Portia Vann has reacted to this in his reading about woman and the future of social media as a whole. She was writing about how women can change the game of sports by just participating in it so people could just change their mind as they would be able to accept the fact it happened so it can open a sports broadcast era that can turn around and open new opportunities for people to connect.and discuss the point of women that affect the point of people in sports. Thanks to some research, the fanbases will go up as a matter of how this "intense collective passion" will be defined as some kind of required television audience.
The last commodification is that it needs a little more argument to make it more appealing and easier to understand because it can help the process of women and the social media following.is not really going their way, but it can change momentarily as long as people can take this seriously. I think this would be quite a way to agree to all of this because of how agreements of this can lead to a higher following in the sports that they are participating in and I want to agree with that last fact. The woman just made running so much easier for anyone that can participate.
Social media today has not been going in the women's favor, but the acknowledgement of women's skills can go from a proud thing to a turning point in the way we see it. The rise of media, as stated by many writers, will continue to benefit female athletes and will grow their fanbase. There are more people that just want to follow this, and that is how the Boston Marathon became a very complex tradition that both genders compete in today and for years to come.
I need to reiterate the fact that women in sports means so much for the businesses that need it because of various theories that are used to analyze the need for females in sports through psychological and money-related reasons. But this week's theory takes care of what the social media world needs to do to support or oppose women playing critical and important roles in the world in sports terms. The reading can be compared to this in alot of ways thanks to the explanation of how the sports world can be used to explain how women's sports can be geared toward sports in a way to spread the word about those things to change the game of the popularity of female-orientated sports in the bridge of communication.
Sadly, this marks the end of the semester through a blogging world that focuses on the aspect of sports and the theories that are very helpful to the topic that is talked about every week. However, I have enjoyed this process and would like to close out this journey in style by saying this catchphrase.
The future is so bright you gotta wear shades.

Week 12 - Social Media Moves Breaking Up the Ego of a Superstar? Signs Pointing to Yes
As we are getting to the end of this course, signs are becoming clearer that all communication theories are getting more understandable when it comes to sports. Yet, this week's topic focuses on how the NCAA has a persuasive policy on how the NFL has a policy for all the upcoming draft prospects because of what happened with the Laremy Tunsil fallout on Twitter. This week's featured article talks about how players should be careful of their actions of what they do outside the field, with certain experiments with drugs or booze for examples. Rules are being applied that hacked, or better yet controversial posts on social media should NOT be tolerated. Any infraction of the rules would result in a drop in the draft or better yet, a chance to go undrafted in the draft before getting picked up by another team through free agency.
Based off of that statement, it depends on how people follow the current policy of the dissent. If it's something that proves to be so severe, this would hurt their credibility as superstars that would blossom into future Tom Bradys, Richard Shermans, Jerry Rices and even some Ezekiel Elliotts that would make such an impact for a team. Plus, it could lead to a big downfall in the process, that doesn't include the likelihood of getting fined for being a part of a charity event in my hometown. This would mean fines for that person in the process.
Likely prospects, which feature potential #1 pick Myles Garrett, should be very careful of their actions or otherwise things would not turn out in their direction they are going in. If others follow suit, the same could happen. The article has also talked about how the gambling rules can become such a key thing to break after the likes of such iconic stars including Navarro Bowman, Marshawn Lynch and James Harrison have broken the rules of gambling for a wrestling league, according to that article's sources. The league may have cancelled a competition for some various reasons.
I believe this would be a great way to talk about similarities to the reading from this week that talks about the freedom of speech and the athletes that follow it. When Meg Penrose wrote about how posts can interfere with success, I kind of agree with her big theories and keen research about how everything can change with even the smallest post on Snapchat. The term with athletic performance and others should be factors at how it can screw over that star and would have his persona shut down by an incredible scandal revolving around the fact they broke such a rule and hurt their organization's domination.
So, based off of this evidence, this would be a very accurate assumption of how social media can be such a make or break thing for those who can possibly make it big in the real world and would become an icon for many people that want to follow in their footsteps as icons that would be a hall-of-fame caliber factor for a spot among the biggest greats to ever roam the planet in the sport they have participated in and made significant impact in their lives.
The less they post their credibility, the better results they will get as long as they don't mess up their moves with one bad post that might be anaylzed by the fans that can "publicize the liason" of athletes and their wicked ways, as said by a group of critics that have discussed the process of the policies and actions being seen or unseen by a group of fans that could turn away from the guy or girl if things don't turn out to be safe.

Week 11 - WWE = Everything Else?
A number of writers have been discussing many different sports businesses (along with the WWE) becoming very similar because of how they can use social media to access certain things and organizations can be like different things to get into the mood of how things should be to get some form of currency to go up or to monitor more uses of the boundaries that could possibly be invaded by some form of surveillance that is done in every other part of the entertainment industry that is looking for ways to advertise action in sports. Wrestling could likely use the same thing to get sports feedback. Privacy concerns remain a dynamic piece of the puzzle at the time, because of the lack of safe space that would prove to be such an investigation regarding the boundaries of how social media is run by sports companies.
A likely possibility of this would need to be that there is no way to monitor others because of how social media can feel a little too broad and intolerable and that can be complicating to the things that we talk about in any communication class in general because this is a great scenario to discuss when it comes to WWE being so similar to everything else thanks to the structure of the businesses that are done.
This can also be applied to the reading about how sport organizations provide benefits in many areas in the world, regardless of the fact that this is something to suppress like the dissent that have been analyzed. One of the five guiding principles that tells us that athletes believe they can control that stuff, but the people in charge have the final say in what they need to do to make the sport and rules safe for all, as long as they follow the sanctions required for the world.
In this week's readings, there are many ways that are so similar to what have been talked about in the past few years including the whole theory that all future implications are different. WWE is best known for its drama and big time action, although it could also be seen as a form of fabrication that have been such a turnoff for all cynical critics that could not care less for any of this "millennial craze thing" that has become such a key factor in today's generation because of how people can react through their fingertips and this can be fantastic at interaction and reaching out to people but it mostly depends on the Wi-Fi in whatever place you are in for connection.
Moreover, the big dissent that surrounds this coverage could be a little too much to handle because of how much trends are involved for some of the worst reasons. This could lead to side effects that would ruin the mind and cause bouts of depression and anxiety to make life an ordeal that would seem impossible to overcome thanks to the following symptoms and concerns.
In conclusion, I don't think the WWE can be just like other sports because this is much more of a made up type of deal. The commodification of this would need to be that this would get a lot of people arguing about this because of how similar each sport business can look by usually taking a feel for what the world looks like through that lens. Some people are going to think that the dissent is very much like everything else, but I think WWE's rules are much stricter regarding that social media is difficult to suppress dissent, not counting this beautiful moment.

Week 10 - The Streaming of Social Media Through Sports' Perspective
People have been discussing this stuff ever since Twitter became a thing following Facebook's rise to fame. The internet has been on the rise, as discussed in this week's video, to portray sports from a new perspective in the world. The moral sports media point is talked about in order to analyze people watching their favorite sports as a way to explore a way to land any way to have their enjoyment at the rate they need to get a feel for what is unfolding in whatever reality they are in. It may be great for the role they play in.
Plus, this can be so critical to the future of sports media because of how this can mean a lot of being guarded and more protected so critics can be able to talk about how the Internet can only get bigger and useful when time comes. It will only improve over time and this commodification is a great way to reveal more social identity things and this would feel like a way to impact broadcasters. These examples explained in the article are beneficial when it comes to viewing games through various social media platforms including Twitter, Facebook and even Snapchat in the possible future and for years after this.
Personally, I can compare this to the reading about how social media is becoming such a use for escape and other things as well. Professionalism can also be seen as a way to depict professional skills to a new level of the real world and what lies ahead for them as well. Literature review surrounding this would be a great way to talk about how it would turn this world around and into a brand new form of sports viewing. The study is great at looking at that stuff thanks to how specific it looks.
People know that this would be a great theory to be applied at many scenarios when you need it the most. All they need to do is to understand that this would be the best way to go because this would be a great description of this coming to pass and would call for a great way to talk about watching games from an all-new point of view that is opposed to the traditional way of viewing things back in the day to when streaming was just through television and possibly the radio.
As a recommendation of this, I wouldn't feel so involved or sucked into this as much people are because this would have to be very cautious and risky because this may cause costs to go through the roof and data to run out in a blink of an eye. I personally think that this angle of this social media theory is important to talk about to get people talking about the whole purpose of protection of what you would like to see or not see through a social media platform. This can easily be compared to any of the readings from this week but Sada Reed's article comes out on top in relating terms.
In the end of what is being discussed about social media and streaming at its finest, many would know that this article can be viewed as a unique way to see games. And professionalism, although sounding different, can be used as a special way to talk about that stuff. There is more important information to talk about the outcome of social media for many years to come.

Week 9 - Wall Street, Sports Edition
Fresh off of another successful spring break, I am more than happy to give the readers the scoop about one of the most popular traditions of March and the spring season to come along with it. Though it doesn't come without controversy regarding the betting and let alone the fun of the sports involvement people tune in to watch and be compared to the uses and gratifications theory, but for the more questionable reasons, that would be through a fan's eyes, for better or worse.
This week's article involves the fact that sports betting has become very much like Wall Street in New York. The writers of that article have many things to talk about how sports have become very dramatic when it comes to betting on the teams that seem to do very well in the bracket busting part of the league and the sections that seemed to follow the number one thing revolving around things that turn sports into a serious business when it comes to the factors of winning and losing that could also lead to the outcome of the future of the team.
In my opinion, this can be compared to the readings that author Arthur Rainey wrote about "deposition and enjoyment" and how enjoying sports in general could be impacted by something that is a very heavy thing to talk about because of how much all of seriousness can take the fun away from sports. It could be a huge impact on the world as well. In his findings in this week's reading, he was referring to many different angles with the whole point of things can be dictated by the fate of the sports could play such a heavy role in the society as a whole to analyze how it can unite people. Or it can tear them apart because of the reasons if they take it too seriously.
Another angle on this would need to be how the stocks are set up in similar fashion to the real world and how fans can react to their teams losing or winning but not getting the spread that they have wanted in order to get the money they win from having their big gamble paying off and their "stock" goes up dramatically because of the end result of that game going in their favor, which is comparable to the business on Wall Street. I think this is a great way to compare this to all of what Rainey has said about watching sports for fun or for seriousness when it comes to how you can bet on.
More on this could also include how people need sports to escape and be a part of something that can lure them out of the real world and into something big. The term arousal can be used in order to talk about how people can bet as well as the charts when the categories were calculated, including of course, entertainment and enjoyment as opposed to concern or worry from other things brought in others' lives too. Alot of fans need that support otherwise they would be in desperation for an answer to their problems.
In conclusion, based off of the latest commodification angles, I do believe that sports has become a business for many people that have put so much on the line in order to get the results that they have wanted regardless of the fact if it's an escape or another way to get worried of what things can do. The so-called "watchdogs" can also be analyzed as a group of people that are focused on the sport through technology and many other millennial uses of today's world, and that will be a great thing to talk about when it comes to monitoring fans and their hopes.

Week 8 - Michael Floyd's Undoing Related to Crisis
The number one crisis in sports going on right now would need to be the fact Michael Floyd has been accused of a DUI in Arizona, and it has led to some problems with his credibility of being an NFL star.
He was convicted of that DUI back in December and got 24 days in the slammer for his poor actions, which include being well above the alcohol limit. Others followed suit with similar crimes committed in the past and Floyd definitely isn't alone in the much-talked about debate about committing such wrong turns and crimes that could be costly for them in the future. They could ruin their image with even the smallest moves that could be ultimately detrimental.
This would mean this is an example of how an image would be destroyed thanks to something that is so wrong and misjudged that this would call for some kind of organizational image to become more repaired. Some of his fans would officially tune out of their commitment to the player because they would start thinking he is not the person that they would want to pull for. These fans can look for new players and teams they can pull for in case something like what the former Arizona Cardinal did a few months earlier happens.
This may force Floyd to go into differentiation, or better known as the scenario in which players begin to look for a way out of this by disconnecting from the event to a context that feels like an escape, it can be compared to the uses and gratifications theory that has been talked about earlier. He wants to escape this bitter reality. Of all of these things in the terms, this is the way to go because it correlates with the story more.
To agree with this, this theory deserves a lot of credit for describing how the term of apology can also come to place as they feel some remorse for doing the absolute wrong thing. Apologia will come in at a certain time when he expresses his sorrow for his mistake. I can see him making a remorse-filled apology like what Dak Prescott's for his similar incident before last spring's NFL draft.
I can definitely compare this to what has been talked about in the video when it comes to images becoming torn down like the Penn State fallout where Joe Paterno intentionally covered up for his colleague Jerry Sandusky and has started a path to placing a big asterisk next to that legacy they have created in the NCAA all-time wins leader-board for some of the most iconic college football coaches of all time.
A 2016 reading by Kenon A. Brown has discussed the whole point of apology after the criminal activity they may have committed to this. He argued that this apologizing may very well be the best way to analyze the perception of the image being repaired and it would be best to provide some evidence for this to be confirmed. If that happens, Floyd could return to his glory days as an NFL wide receiver, but this may become a little problematic as he could be released by the defending Super Bowl champions.
With that said and done, I believe that whatever unfolded with Floyd's DUI is something that could be done at an easier pace when it comes to theorizing the measurement of apologies being accepted and mistakes being forgiven at a great time.

Week 7 - Constructing Parent-Coach Relationships, Is it That Important?
As this sports world keeps getting bigger, this week's topic takes a closer turn at this theory between players and coaches and their relationships in the sports they love.
In this week's article, which is about the importance of the coach and athletes getting along very well in the process, Tracy Donahue has written about how the sports world could become a shallow place without a need and the constructs are heavily used in this big theory, including the four discussed in this week's topic video.
Influences may have done some work in order to keep or shatter player-coach relationships. She was also talking about why research comes to a great time to examine people's behaviors to each other when they are playing sports with their motivators looking on and hopefully shaping their confidence up to be good.
For an example, an article about a player-coach relationship in the Meridian Star, calls for a fantastic structure at how positive this may look. They team up to make a difference in the league so their team can contend for a championship and get to know each other a little more. And that is the whole point of this article that an assistant coach named Matt Lum is acting as an extension to a player named Woodridge at West Lauderdale High School in the Mississippi area. This could be seen as a clear depiction of how closeness and co-orientation can lead to a great relationship on and off the atmosphere that they, both players and coaches, play and motivate in.
My supposed angle on this would need to be that this is certainly a fantastic way to talk about the constructs of relationships between the coaches and players alike. I am pretty sure that when Donahue was discussing about where this theory comes to play at the times of analyzing concepts to this idea, she was serious about the psychology part of sports. Regret messages will pressure the athlete to the point where they underwhelm and not perform as great as expected can relate to that. This can cause the relationship to go to pieces and they start losing as a result too.
When reading this article, I was very certain that coaches and players are easy to get along and see where they could go from the point where they can start bonding to seeing them scoring some achievements for their work. That brings a lot of people closer to the term that is called "Positive Coaching" which has elements of the cooperation and affiliation that makes teamwork much easier to achieve.
In any level of sport (High school/College/Pro), there have been some rumors about negative relationships that cause that team go south because of some conflict that goes on in some places that cause some teams to argue with their coach in the process. This could be a quick way to bring an abrupt end to a promising run and I can compare that to last week's topic about the end of one's career thanks to poor parenting.
And with all of that said and done, I agree with Tracy Donahue's theory discussing the importance of coach-athlete relationships in sports having so much chemistry thanks to some part in the psychology side of the world.
